I got the album, it's not their best, but still... hmm... lovely ;-) Because these guys are doing covers of Miles Davis and The Ramones on one album - for them it's so natural to put these things together.Spring Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17503202669952653208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7868405736243561443.post-75786252141845419562009-03-16T20:56:00.000+01:002009-03-16T20:56:00.000+01:00NOMEANSNO doing miles...http://www.youtube.com/wat...NOMEANSNO doing miles...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dnHW7s05tkicasticohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08410014613179918959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7868405736243561443.post-31679107817362513362009-03-16T20:53:00.000+01:002009-03-16T20:53:00.000+01:00I saw Sacchrine Trust back in '84...just who I was...I saw Sacchrine Trust back in '84...just who I was thinking of...

Have you heard NOMEANSNO's version of Bitches Brew?

Cool stuff.

Thanks for the link, btw.icasticohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08410014613179918959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7868405736243561443.post-17003587233414356342009-03-16T19:09:00.000+01:002009-03-16T19:09:00.000+01:00Hi Icastico, I'll need to check your drumming work...Hi Icastico, I'll need to check your drumming work - I might have a good opportunity for that on your blog, right?
Hm, San Francisco / California must have been a very good place to mix punk and jazz in the 80's... This track of Club Foot Orchestra here is not punky at all, but there were so many things going on at that time...
