an encyclopaedic experiment
Hayden Chisholm is working on a documentary film on German folk music. What he writes on his blog about a bandoneon player in the Erzgebirge sounds mouthwatering. If it's only half as touching as "Eleven Voices" it will already be a very interesting affair.

What's going on here? Well, things are a bit messy, I must admit. I started this blog for building a little, personal musician's encyclopedia, doing it in a backwards way, starting with the letter Z. Short after reaching Y my stamina had worn down a bit, and this was put on a hiatus. However, occasionally I come back to the idea and will proceed with either the encyclopedia or some general remarks about music or the arts in general.
