Ben Zion Zeitlin & Mordechai Zeitlin

Ben Zion Zeitlin & Mordechai Zeitlin (voc): Andy Statman Klezmer Orchestra: "Borukh ato" Andy Statman Klezmer Orchestra: "Gerer rikkud"

Couldn't find any pictures, couldn't find any info, don't know who these two vocalists are. The only thing that is for sure: They're singing on two tracks of the album "A Haymish Groove", compiled/produced by Geduldig un Thimann in 1992.

Edit: Lucky has provided a wooooonderful photo of these two singers. Many thanks! Here it is:

Oh, that's funny, there's a James ZitRo while I already have a James Zito. Thanks for the picture are already expressed in the post - now I should check out James Zitro and thank you for that.
Well, I'm not a true enough encyclopedist, Diderot wouldn't approve of my subjective attitude. As you can imagine, this little project is not trying to be complete in any way. It is just based on a "master file" which is containing the underlying alphabetical list of musicians and references to albums or songs they play on. Artists/albums which are in my collection are taken into this master file - with the time being. And then will end up in this blog-encyclopedia, also with the time being. So, that's why Zitro isn't in there yet. But if you recommend him, I'm sure he deserves an entry.

I don't know if Zitro "deserves" an entry in your encyclopaedia, I just wondered if your entry "James C. "Jimmy" Zito" could be the "James Zitro" I thought of - which he wasn't, of course. I posed Zitro's ESP-Disk in the past, but since all their CD's are still in print, I won't do it anymore.

And by the way - maybe it would be best (for your own health), to stick to your original idea of picking just the artists from your own collection. ;)

[word verification right now is: "suavent" - didn't work out! next is: "spekin"]

Ach ja, noch was:
Du bist ja ein Spezialist für's buchstabenweise Posting - ich habe ja Deine "World of M" leider nicht mehr erlebt, aber das muss schon ein Knaller gewesen sein...
